Liverpool are reportedly keen on the Barcelona winger.

The January transfer window isn’t far away now and, naturally, Liverpool fans will be seeing more and more rumours regarding their club over the coming weeks.
In fact, the rumour mill has already started churning out stories.
According to The Sun, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is considering an £85 million move for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
If it happens, it would be the second time that Klopp has broken the Reds’ transfer record inside 12 months, following a £75 million move for Virgil van Dijk last January.
The Anfield side already have one of the most formidable attacking tridents in world football, with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah helping Liverpool to a Champions League final last season, losing to Real Madrid.
But the addition of Dembele would certainly give them perhaps the most feared attack on the planet, even if all four cannot play simultaneously.
Here’s how fans of the Merseyside club are reacting to the rumour:
The 21-year-old French winger has stared 11 competitive games for Barca this season, scoring six goals.
It’s a decent goal return, but questions remain over how settled he is at Camp Nou following a £126 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
Given Barcelona’s investment, it seems very unlikely that they would be willing to take a £40 million loss on a player who could be worth an absolute fortune in the coming years, but time will tell whether this one has legs or if it’s just another pre-January rumour.
