Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting to Marca’s front page today.

The Spanish outlet were reacting to the Champions League draw that saw Real Madrid pitted up against the Reds, and they put a rather controversial image on their front page.

Indeed the newspaper used the infamous image of Sergio Ramos injuring Mohamed Salah in the 2018 Champions League final, accompanied with a headline that read ‘Este equipo quiere mas’, which translates to ‘this team wants more’.

While the headline itself is questionable, it was the picture that seemingly rubbed fans up the wrong way, and we can understand why.

The clash between Madrid and Liverpool in 2018 provided many iconic images, but the publication opted to use the image of Ramos injuring Salah, which was of course bound to rub Liverpool fans up the wrong way.

One supporter humorously bit back, sending a picture of a front page after Liverpool’s famous 4-0 win over Madrid back in 2009, while others were rather incensed by the newspaper.

Here’s what the Anfield faithful have been saying on social media…
