Liverpool have been showing an interest in Borussia Dortmund ace Jude Bellingham – but rivals Manchester City have now joined the race for his signature.
Bellingham, 18, only joined Dortmund from Birmingham City last summer.
Yet after a superb first season in the Bundesliga, Bellingham was named as part of England’s Euro 2020 squad.
Bellingham continues to shine every week for Dortmund, becoming a well-rounded midfielder.
Now, Bellingham is unsurprisingly being linked with a move back to England, with Liverpool and City keen.
Liverpool and City fight for Bellingham
Liverpool have been heavily linked with Bellingham of late. Reports last week suggested that Liverpool are in ‘regular contact’ to sign Bellingham in a huge deal.
Now though, the Daily Star report that Manchester City want Bellingham too. Pep Guardiola’s men want to challenge Liverpool for a deal that could cost £80million.
Pep seemingly wants yet another midfielder at the end of the season, and Liverpool target Bellingham has been picked out as a potential signing.

Liverpool fans react
Unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans aren’t feeling too great after reading that City want Bellingham too.
Owners FSG haven’t really splashed the cash at Liverpool of late, and City may be able to blow the Reds out of the water.
Fans have been taking to Twitter to suggest that City can’t hijack a move for Bellingham because Liverpool won’t bid for him.
There is a real fear that Liverpool won’t even move for Bellingham due to FSG’s approach.
Others think that even if Liverpool do bid for Bellingham, he will join City.
Some are giving up already, believing the money on offer at City is just too much.
