According to Calciomercato.com, Liverpool are among the clubs interested in signing Torreira from Sampdoria in the summer transfer window.
Serie A outfit Napoli and Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are also reported to be on the hunt for the 22-year-old Uruguay international.
Torreira has been on the books of Sampdoria since 2016 when he joined from fellow Italian club Pescara.
The youngster, who is valued at €35.5 million (£31.14m) by CIES Football Observatory, has established himself as a key player for Sampdoria and is one of the best young defensive midfielders in Serie A.
In 36 appearances in Serie A for the Blucerchiati this season, Torreira scored four goals and provided one assist, according to WhoScored.
