Liverpool fans react to Loris Karius’s performance on Twitter.

Liverpool might have ended Manchester City’s unbeaten run this season, but it wasn’t impressive enough for the fans to absolve one player of his performance.
The Reds edged out Pep Guardiola’s side 4-3 at Anfield in a performance which saw the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – who opened the scoring – Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane all take centre stage and give the home fans a memorable evening of attacking football.
At the other end, though, it was a different story.

City were given a route back into the game in the first half when Leroy Sane smashed past Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, beating him at his near post.
The 24-year-old, a £4.7 million signing (Daily Mail) in 2016, was preferred to Simon Mignolet, but the German was also nowhere to be seen as Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan scored late on to increase anxiety levels inside Anfield.

And Reds supporters haven’t reacted kindly to Karius’s performance it has to be said.
