Liverpool fans react to Lord Sugar’s tweet on Tottenham Hotspur win

Liverpool lost 2-0 to Leicester City. Tottenham Hotspur won 1-0 against Barnsley in the EFL cup.

Tottenham Hotspur progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after edging past Barnsley 1-0 on Tuesday night at Wembley.

Dele Alli scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute to seal the tie in Spurs’ favour, in front of a Wembley crowd of just 23,926.

Mauricio Pochettino said before the game that he is prioritizing Premier League and Champions League over domestic cup competitions, but fielded a strong side on Tuesday.

Tottenham have won just one game at Wembley so far – against Borussia Dortmund – and it looked like this one would slip away from them, but Alli’s cool finish made the difference.

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman, Alan Sugar, wasn’t too impressed with the win, and labelled the victory as a “disgrace” on Twitter.

Liverpool fans responded to his tweet in a hilarious way. The Reds lost 2-0 to Leicester City in the EFL Cup, and Liverpool fans weren’t happy at all.
