Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the Augsburg ace.

Philipp Max of FC Augsburg looks on during a training session of FC Augsburg on July 1, 2019 in Augsburg, Germany.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet Sport, Liverpool are interested in signing £18 million-rated Augsburg ace Philipp Max, and some Reds fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

Liverpool desperately need to sign a new left-back having lost Alberto Moreno on a free transfer earlier this summer, and the 25-year-old German could be just the ticket for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Max is an incredibly attacking full-back, and he seems to have all of the attributes needed to play under Klopp’s intense setup at Anfield.

The Augsburg ace has been in incredible form over the past two seasons in the Bundesliga, racking up six goals and 17 assists in 63 appearances, and he would undoubtedly provide stiff competition for Andy Robertson next term.
