Liverpool have added one first-team signing this summer, bringing in left back Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiacos.
Still, Jurgen Klopp may be keen to add another attacker to his side this summer, with a number of options linked.
Liverpool weren’t prepared to pay the asking price for Timo Werner, so a more budget-friendly option would make sense for the Reds.
One name linked with the club back in February was Milot Rashica, with Bild claiming that Klopp was keen – though rumours of a move to Anfield have faded.
Since then, it has been RB Leipzig most strongly linked with Rashica, viewing him as a potential replacement for the aforementioned Werner.
Now though, Bild claim that talks between Leipzig and Werder Bremen are breaking down, because Leipzig won’t meet the €20million (£18million) asking price.

That’s a huge discount on the €38million (£34million) initially suggested, and Liverpool fans now want a deal for the Kosovo attacker after 11 goals and eight assists last season.
Fans took to Twitter to suggest that Rashica is now a ‘bargain’, and would be a much better signing than Watford’s Ismaila Sarr given his versatility and much cheaper price tag, as well as his ability to develop under Klopp.
