The young Liverpool prospect has signed a new long-term deal at the club.

The 17-year-old, who is capable of playing at right-back and centre-back, is delighted to be committing his future to Anfield.
He’s now hoping he can make some first team appearances across the coming season but recognises his introduction to senior action will be an ongoing process.
As quoted by liverpoolfc.com, Hoever said: “I hope to make some minutes in the first team this year, of course, but I know that I will probably play more games for the U23s. I will just train hard with the first team, show them what I can do and if there is a chance, I will be ready. That’s what I am hoping for.”
Hoever has been involved with Jurgen Klopp’s team plenty in pre-season so far, most recently against Lyon on Wednesday night.
The teenager is impressing on the right flank with slick, progressive passing, as well as showing off his pace and positioning ability.
Despite his young age he is already looking pretty polished and his future is certainly bright. With a lack of depth behind Trent Alexander-Arnold heading into the new season, he could feature more regularly than anyone really expects.
Klopp has shown in the past he will give opportunities to young players if they’re good enough.
As always with emerging prospects patience must be given and there can’t be too much expected of him while he learns his trade as a professional footballer.

Some Liverpool fans are delighted he’s been given a big contract though, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts…
