Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after transfer market expert Fabio Santini told my7.tv (via Area Napoli) that the Reds have made an offer for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.
Santini believes that Jurgen Klopp’s side have offered between £63 million – £67 million to sign the centre-back, as that is Aurelio De Laurentiis’ asking price.
It is also stated that Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on the Senegalese defender, who is an international teammate of Sadio Mane.
Liverpool are described as the club most serious in taking Koulibaly away from Naples.
The 29-year-old is an exceptional player, and one who Pep Guardiola is said to be crazy about.

Gazzetta dello Sport (via Mundo Deportivo) reported last summer that the Manchester City boss was desperate to bring the ex-Genk man to the Etihad Stadium.
Koulibaly has made four appearances so far this season, conceding just two goals in those outings across Serie A and also the Europa League.

Just days after Virgil van Dijk’s serious injury, it would be a real statement from Liverpool if they were to respond to that incident by bringing one of Europe’s best to Anfield.
Let’s see what the Reds supporters on Twitter have been saying about the news…
