The 28-year-old midfielder – who earns £100,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Saturday afternoon, hosts Liverpool had 49% of the possession, took seven shots of which two were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are now third in the Premier League table with 20 points from eight matches.
