Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Jordan Henderson against Manchester City.
Henderson was in action for Liverpool in the FA Community Shield against Premier League rivals City on Sunday.
The 29-year-old midfielder started the game and played for 79 minutes, as Jurgen Klopp’s side lost on penalties.
The England international failed to impose himself on the match, especially in the first half, and although his performance level improved after the break, when he was taken off, there was a feeling that he had been underwhelming.
Liverpool fans were not impressed with the performance of Henderson, and have criticised him on Twitter and want him dropped.
