Henderson featured for Liverpool in their Premier League game against City at Anfield on Wednesday evening.
The 28-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
The former Sunderland star is a midfielder by trade, but the England international was deployed as a right-back against Leicester.
As expected, Henderson did not shine in the unfamiliar role, and struggled to cope with the Foxes’ attacking forays in the second half.
According to WhoScored, against Leicester on Wednesday evening, the 28-year-old had a pass accuracy of 80.6%, won five headers, made three interceptions and three clearances, and played one key pass.
The draw with the Foxes means that Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 61 points from 24 matches, five points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
