Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have won the Chelsea this evening.
Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Joel Matip against Chelsea on Sunday evening.
Matip was in action for Liverpool in their Premier League match against Chelsea at Anfield.
The 27-year-old central defender started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Jurgen Klopp’s side won 2-0.
According to WhoScored, against Chelsea on Sunday evening, Matip had a pass accuracy of 88%, won five headers, took 87 touches, and made three tackles, three interceptions and two clearances.
The Cameroonian did not have a great first half, but the defender got better after the break and did well during the second 45 minutes.
Some Liverpool fans, though, were not impressed with the display produced by Matip and have criticised him on Twitter.

The win against the Blues means that Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 85 points from 34 matches, two points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have played 33 games.
