Liverpool overcame West Ham United with ease this weekend.

Liverpool picked up another three points on Saturday when they defeated West Ham United 4-1 at the London Stadium.
The Reds’ goals came courtesy of Mohamed Salah (2), Joel Matip and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, ensuring that Manuel Lanzini’s 55th-minute strike was a mere consolation.

While that was the case, the Argentine’s goal came after a mistake from Liverpool defender Joe Gomez, and some Reds fans were quick to slam the youngster despite his otherwise impressive performance.
The youngster has impressed since returning to the Liverpool team this season and he is considerably better than some of the other options available to them.
Liverpool fans would be wise to remember that – as well as his age – before they criticise him for mistakes that all players make in their careers.

In time Gomez is expected to become an integral player for Liverpool and for England and aside from allowing Lanzini to score for the Hammers, he did well from then on to ensure West Ham did not find their way back into the game.
