Liverpool announced Joe Gomez’s new contract today – and fans of the Anfield club are loving it.
The 21-year-old put pen to paper on a new long-term deal this morning.
Liverpool, who sit top of the Premier League and have conceded just six goals all season, are the only unbeaten side left in English football and Gomez has played a big role in that, with the youngster forming a brilliant partnership alongside Virgil van Dijk.
The former Charlton youth joined the Anfield club under Brendan Rodgers back in 2015, and Liverpool fans are delighted to see him extend his stay on Merseyside.

Gomez, who has only managed 41 Premier League games for the club, endured a horrendous injury-hit first couple of years, and is sidelined now until January.
But he has been consistently fit for Liverpool since the beginning of the 2017-18 campaign and played 31 games in all competitions last season, before benching Dejan Lovren to partner Van Dijk.
