Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with Javier Pastore of Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Javier Pastore.
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Liverpool have made a bid for the former Palermo star in the January transfer window.
It has also been reported that the Reds’ Premier League rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, also made an offer for the 28-year-old Argentina international.
Liverpool and Spurs reportedly made offers in the region of €25 million (£21.92m) and €40m (£35.07m), but Pastore is said to have turned them down and wants to return to Italy, with Inter Milan claimed to be interested in him.
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Pastore earns €6.5m (£5.7m) plus bonuses per year at PSG at the moment.
The Argentine has been on the books of PSG since the summer of 2011 when he joined from Palermo for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £37 million.
During his time at PSG so far, the 28-year-old has won the Ligue 1 title four times and has also featured consistently in the Champions League.
