Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the Real Madrid ace.
According to a report from Spanish publication OK Diario, Liverpool have emerged as a potential destination for Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale this summer, and some Reds fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 29-year-old is widely considered to be one of the world’s best players, and his superstar status could very well help take Liverpool to another level, both on the pitch and commercially.
It hasn’t been all plain sailing for the Wales international of late, however.
Bale has found himself well down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu, and his continued injury problems over the past few years will undoubtedly be a concern for Liverpool fans.
On his day, though, the Welsh wizard really is unplayable, and he would undoubtedly provide strong competition for the Reds’ current front three.
According to Spanish media outlet AS, the former Spurs ace could be available for £114 million this summer, and considering his age, that really would be quite the outlay for the Merseyside outfit.
