Liverpool are interested in signing CSKA Moscow hitman Fyodor Chalov, according to a report from the Mirror, and some Reds fans reacted to the speculation on Twitter.
The Russian, 21, was in fine form last season, racking up 17 goals and seven assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.
Chalov is a real talent, and he is now allegedly looking to take the next step in his career.
The Mirror claims that the striker could be available for just £20 million this summer – a real snip in today’s ludicrously inflated transfer market.
Chalov would be a signing made with one eye on the future, and he could very well go on to become a real star at Liverpool.
