Liverpool fans don’t want the club to offer Emre Can the £200k-a-week deal he reportedly wants to stay at Anfield.

Liverpool fans have laughed off suggestions that the club could pay Emre Can £200,000 per week to stay at Anfield.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at Liverpool this summer and looks set to leave on a Bosman, with Juventus reportedly keen on the Germany midfielder.
However, The Mirror reported on Saturday that Can, who signed for the Reds under Brendan Rodgers in 2014, is demanding a £200k-a-week deal to sign a new contract on Merseyside.
It remains to be seen what Jurgen Klopp and the club’s hierarchy decide, but fans of the Anfield club are unequivocal in suggesting that he does not deserve those wages.

Can is a good player but Liverpool fans are right – he should not be anywhere near the club’s highest-paid player, which he would be if the Reds cough up that figure.
The former Bayern Munich man could be worth that figure at some point in the future, but for now he is simply not consistent enough to reach his true potential.
