The 20-year-old striker started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.

Solanke’s performance against Everton was not great, but perhaps that is because he is still very young and has not played much.
The England international will have learnt a lot from the experience of playing in the Merseyside derby.
What the former Chelsea prospect now needs to do is remain confident and look at the positive aspect of his game against Everton.
Despite the draw with Everton, Liverpool remain one of the favourites to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
