Liverpool and Burnley went head-to-head this weekend and the young Belgian played his part.

Liverpool came from behind to defeat Burnley 2-1 at Anfield this weekend, with Georginio Wijnaldum and the much-maligned Emre Can scoring for the Reds.
That came after Ashley Barnes had opened the scoring for the visitors, temporarily sending shockwaves around Anfield as Jurgen Klopp’s side looked to get another three points in the battle for a top-four finish.
Ultimately Liverpool were triumphant, with Belgian international Divock Origi having a hand in both goals, but his overall performances was still questioned by a section of the Reds’ fan base.
Origi was making his 33rd appearance of the season, yet this was the first time he had started a league match since early January.
Given the attacking options at Liverpool’s disposal this season it is no surprise that Origi has had to make do with a bit-part role, but despite criticism from some fans his attacking contribution will not have been missed by his manager.
