Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to manager Jurgen Klopp’s latest comments on Diogo Jota.
Earlier today, Klopp gave an update on the situation of Jota, who is injured at the moment and is not available for Liverpool.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “Diogo is close, but not as close as Naby, for example. He is on the pitch as well, individual sessions, not the same intensity as you can imagine after a longer time. In rehab, you have to train really intensely before you can go back to team training.
“Diogo [will be] two or three weeks, maybe. Probably the medical department hits me now, but I think that’s kind of possible, back in full training and then we will see how long it takes.”
Jota, who joined Liverpool from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2020, has been on the sidelines since December 9, 2020 when he suffered a knee injury against FC Midtjylland in Denmark in the Champions League.
The 24-year-old attacker was in fine form prior to the injury and was starting to stake a claim in the Reds’ starting lineup.

According to WhoScored, the Portugal international has made five starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Reds so far this season, scoring five goals in the process.
Jota has also scored four goals in six Champions League games for the defending English champions this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Some Liverpool fans have given their take on Klopp’s latest comments on Jota and seem amused that the timeline on the attacker’s recovery seems to be pushed back.
