Everton are closing in on the signing of Bayer Leverkusen winger Demarai Gray – and Liverpool fans seem very impressed.
The Toffees need to find quality out wide, and it looks like Rafael Benitez has not one but two targets in mind.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Everton are nearing a deal for Leverkusen wide man Gray.
The Telegraph report that Gray will cost just £1.5million, and Benitez will also sign free agent Andros Townsend having worked with him at Newcastle United.
Gray, 25, only departed Leicester City in January, heading to Germany in a cut-price deal before his Foxes contract expired.
After just 10 appearances for Leverkusen, it looks like Gray will be heading back to the Premier League with Everton.

A speedy wide man who has struggled to fulfil his potential so far, Gray will be hoping to impress on Merseyside – and Liverpool fans seem pretty impressed with the deal.
Reds supporters have been taking to Twitter to suggest that £1.5million for Gray is an ‘absolute steal’ and ‘so cheap’.
Some would even take Gray at Anfield for that price, and believe he has a massive future ahead of him at Everton as supporters admitted liking this deal by their rivals.
