Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren struggled as the Reds battled past Roma.

Liverpool reached the Champions League final last night with a battling display against Roma.
The Reds’ three goal advantage from the first leg put them in a commanding position for the return in Italy, but the game was not without a few worrying moments.
Roma managed to score twice on the night and for a period early in the second half it appeared the Italians were about to mount a monumental comeback.
Young right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was lucky to escape a handball penalty appeal while centre-back Dejan Lovren looked typically shaky.

Lovren had a terrible moment in the second half where he stopped play to appeal an offside call which did not come, allowing Edin Dzeko a shot at goal.
Despite their commanding lead, Liverpool fans’ nerves were shot to pieces watching the match unfold, especially late on.
Liverpool lost 4-2 on the night but edged through 7-6 on aggregate.
In the final Liverpool will go up against reigning champions Real Madrid and Lovren will have to raise his game if he is to stand a chance of keeping Cristiano Ronaldo quiet.
Liverpool fans took to Twitter to express their desire to see Lovren replaced next season, but for now he may be their best option to partner Virgil van Dijk.
