Liverpool overcame Middlesbrough this weekend but what did supporters think of the Croatian’s contribution?

Liverpool secured Champions League qualification with a comfortable 3-0 victory against already relegated Middlesbrough on Sunday, with goals from Georginio Wijnaldum, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana sealing all three points for the hosts.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had some shaky moments in the first half, with Boro holding firm and looking like making it a nervy afternoon at Anfield.
However Wijnaldum – so often the unsung hero this season – scored a vital goal to ease the nerves on the stroke of half time and there was no looking back.
Arsenal were hoping for a slip-up from the Reds but it was not to be, with Liverpool returning to the elite European competition while the Gunners get ready for a season in the Europa League.
While many of Liverpool’s players impressed, one whose future is not so clear is centre-back Dejan Lovren.

The Croatian has definitely improved under Klopp yet he still causes nervous moments among the Liverpool faithful and his fellow defenders, and it will be interesting to see how his manager addresses that this summer.
