Lovren was in action for Liverpool in their Premier League game against City at Anfield on Sunday.
The 30-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Jurgen Klopp’s side won 3-1.
The Croatia international can often be a liability at the back and has made some bad mistakes during his time at Liverpool, but he was very good defensively against City and kept Sergio Aguero quiet.
According to WhoScored, the defender took one shot which was not on target, had a pass accuracy of 73.9%, won two headers, took 62 touches, attempted one dribble, and made one tackle, one interception and five clearances.
