Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Dejan Lovren against Leicester City.

Lovren was in action for Liverpool in their Premier League game against Leicester at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The 30-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Reds won 2-1.

The Croatia international is a good centre-back, but the former Lyon and Southampton does make costly mistakes and does not always look confident at the back.

Against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon, with Virgil van Dijk alongside him, Lovren had a brilliant game on a personal level, looked calm and composed, and looked very confident.

According to WhoScored, Lovren took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 87.8%, won five headers, took 57 touches, and made two tackles, two interceptions and eight appearances.

The win against Leicester means that Liverpool have increased the pressure on defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the title race.
