Liverpool’s Danny Ings struggled against Stoke City today.

Liverpool fans on Twitter aren’t all that happy with Danny Ings.
The former Burnley striker was given a rare start as Liverpool were held to a goalless draw with Stoke City at Anfield on Saturday
Ings, whose career on Merseyside has been blighted by two separate long-term knee injuries, started ahead of Sadio Mane and alongside Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah.
But despite being in good company, the 25-year-old, who had a goal chalked off for offside, struggled to leave a positive impression on the home fans.

It was only Ings’s seventh Premier League appearance of the season, and Reds supporters weren’t hugely impressed by him it must be said.
Here is the reaction to his performance:
Ings is on a reported £60,000 per week [Total Sportek] and has been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent transfer windows. And you wonder if he could finally leave this time.
