Some Liverpool fans are asking questions about the decision to loan out Danny Ings.

Liverpool-owned Danny Ings scored his fifth goal of the season this afternoon.
The Southampton loanee slotted home a first-half penalty in the Saints’ demolition by Manchester City at Eastlands.
As it stands, the 26-year-old striker has scored two more Premier League goals than Liverpool star Roberto Firmino, who only has two so far.
The Brazilian posted a largely underwhelming performance in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday evening.
Here is how Liverpool fans are reacting to Ings’s goal on Twitter:
It’s worth pointing out that the former Burnley man only has one less Premier League goal this season than Mo Salah, who has five in 11 games, compared to Ings’s four in 10.
Nobody is suggesting that Ings is on Salah’s level, but the more goals he scores, the more food for thought he provides.
In terms of back-up strikers, is Ings any less of a goalscorer than Daniel Sturridge for instance? Arguably not, but it must be noted that Ings may not have fancied another season on the fringes of things at Anfield.
