Liverpool have confirmed that the duo will be leaving the club this summer.

Liverpool have confirmed via their official website that Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno will be both be leaving Anfield on free transfers this summer, and some Reds fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news.
The Englishman and the Spaniard have played bit part roles this season at Liverpool, having spent a combined 11-and-a-half years on Merseyside.
The Reds duo have both suffered serious injury problems at one point in time or another, and with their contracts now expired, it is no surprise to see Jurgen Klopp swiftly moving them on.
The German took time to thank the pair for their service to Liverpool, however, as quoted via the club’s official website:
“The most important words to say to these two remarkable players is ‘thank you’. They were here when I arrived as manager and during that period they – as much as anyone – helped to establish us as a team that would be heading in the right direction. Without them we wouldn’t be the team and club we are in this moment.”

The Reds will surely now be looking to sign another top class left-back and a striker this summer, in the wake of the duo’s exit from Anfield.
Some Liverpool fans took to Twitter today in reaction to Sturridge and Moreno being shown the exit door, and many seem to think it was the right decision…
