Calciomercato now report that Liverpool are interested in signing Marseille star Boubacar Kamara, whose versatility should be appealing.
Kamara can play as a centre back or holding midfielder, much like Fabinho – which may be why Michael Edwards and Jurgen Klopp want him.
Kamara, 21, has racked up more than 100 appearances for his hometown club, but Marseille are struggling financially – and selling Kamara may be a necessity.
Liverpool fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the news, with some believing the rumour is ‘amazing’ and saying ‘yes please’ to the idea of Kamara joining.
Others think that FSG would love this move given that he would be cheaper than some big news and has potential, with others suggesting that a double deal for Kamara and Duje Caleta-Car is ‘tempting’.
