Four Liverpool players have been named in the PFA Team of the Year.

Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold were all voted in by their fellow professionals.

The only gripe from Liverpool supporters was that more players did not make it in.

One they were particularly aggrieved to see miss out was goalkeeper Alisson.

The Brazilian stopper missed out, to his compatriot and Manchester City rival Ederson.

Alisson has kept more clean sheets than Ederson and conceded fewer goals.
