Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain posted a very disappointing cameo for Liverpool on Sunday.

Liverpool fans are not happy with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain following his performance in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Arsenal man failed to make Jurgen Klopp’s first XI for the visit of Tottenham, but the 24-year-old had half-an-hour in which to show the German that he was wrong to bench him.
The chance, however, passed him by following what was an anonymous cameo from the Liverpool ace, who was brilliant in last month’s 4-3 win over Manchester City.

Oxlade-Chamberlain touched the ball on six occasions and misplaced two of his five attempted passes.
Not only that, but some Liverpool fans have questioned his desire when defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama ran past him and smashed home an 80th-minute equaliser for Tottenham from outside the box.

Oxlade-Chamberlain will ocasionally throw up a wonderful performance, as he did against City, but consistency blighted his six-year spell at Arsenal and the low-key nature of his three or four appearances since beating Pep Guardiola’s side might suggest that the same issues have followed him to Merseyside.
