Liverpool have named Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in their Champions League squad for knockout stages, as reported by Sky Sports, and some Reds fans took Twitter in reaction to the news.

The 25-year-old has not played a competitive game for the Merseysiders since April 24th, and having him back and available for selection will be a huge boost for Jürgen Klopp.

Liverpool have faltered in the Premier League recently, drawing their last two games, and the extra energy and drive that Oxlade-Chamberlain will bring them will be a massive positive, as they head into the final third of their campaign.

The Reds face an incredibly tough tie against Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League, and despite the German outfit’s struggles domestically, they are still a force to be reckoned with.
