Adam Lallana stole the show for Liverpool against Burnley on Sunday.

A lot of Liverpool fans proved their class on Twitter on Sunday afternoon.
Adam Lallana has been regularly mocked and criticised by the Anfield faithful on social media in recent seasons.
The England midfielder has endured an astounding loss of fitness and form, which is why there is an inevitable, collective eyeroll when Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp talks him up.
But Klopp justified his faith in the former Southampton man yesterday, and many fans of the Anfield club are only too happy to eat their words.
The 30-year-old, a £25 million signing in 2014 [The Guardian], rolled back the years with an all-action display in the 4-2 win over Burnley.
Eyebrows were raised when Klopp started him, but what a way to repay the German boss and here is how Liverpool supporters reacted to the performance.
But how good was he really?
There wasn’t much expectation on Lallana to have a stormer in the first place, which means that good performance would’ve been perceived as a brilliant one on that basis.
But no matter the pre-match expectation, it was still a very, very good performance and one which proves there’s life in him yet.
Lallana is out of contract on Merseyside in 14 months, but he still has a long way to go to earn a new deal.
Despite his performance against Burnley, he is still injury prone and 30. He doesn’t deserve one at this moment in time, but a solid and consistent last couple of months of the season might convince Klopp to pull the trigger on an extension.
