Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana wants to stay put.

Adam Lallana has had what is best described as a ‘bit part’ role at Liverpool this past season.
Days of him being an England regular are long gone. This past season he made only five Premier League starts.
The 31-year-old really needs to move on for the sake of his career. He has no intention of doing so.
Lallana is quoted by Sky Sports: “I’ve got a year left on my contract. I’ll be back, I’ll be training through the summer.
“I am as eager as ever to get fit because I know when I’m fit I’ve got a lot to give and I can get in this team.”
Manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Lallana and has given him more patience than other bosses might have.

The problem for Lallana is he needs to play regularly to get in form, and there is little prospect of that at Liverpool.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s return from injury will further complicate his chances.
This is almost Liverpool’s final chance, apart from next January, to cash in on Lallana.
Fans feel his decision to stay makes little sense…
