Will Liverpool lose Xherdan Shaqiri on deadline day?

Liverpool supporters are in utter disbelief that the club could potentially sell Xherdan Shaqiri on deadline day amid interest from Monaco.
Blick claims that Liverpool have slapped a £33 million price tag on their versatile attacker, with French outfit Monaco keen to secure his services.
Shaqiri joined Liverpool last summer when he arrived from then-relegated Stoke City, and whilst he wasn’t a regular under Jurgen Klopp, he did contribute a fair amount, especially during the first half of the campaign.
That decision to move to Anfield has paid off for Shaqiri because he won the Champions League in his first season and he will no doubt want to stamp his authority even further on the club ahead of the new campaign.
But the interest from Monaco is worrying some Liverpool supporters who are hoping that the club doesn’t part ways with the player because they are not exactly stockpiled in the attacking department.

Whilst Liverpool have one of the best front three’s in the business, their backup options aren’t exactly top quality, as Shaqiri is one of their better players.
Therefore, losing him at such a time could prove to be disastrous for the Merseyside club, who will be aiming to win the Premier League title, starting with their opener against the champions of the Championship, Norwich City on Friday night.
Here is a selection of Liverpool fans reacting to those Shaqiri rumours:
