Liverpool have been linked again with Thomas Lemar.

Liverpool have been linked again with a move for Monaco forward Thomas Lemar.
Lemar was one of the most wanted players in football last summer, with Monaco rejecting an offer worth £90 million on deadline day.

Stung by departures of Kylian Mbappe and Tiemoue Bakayoko among others, they did not want to weaken the team further.
This season has not gone so well for Monaco, who are out of the Champions League already and are fourth in Ligue 1.
Liverpool have money to spend after selling Coutinho, but at £90 million Lemar is overpriced and they are sensible in trying to bring it down.

Whether they will be able to is another matter, as Monaco held firm before, and Liverpool may have to either pay up or miss out.
Last season Lemar scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists, earning a call up to the France international team.
This campaign he has only two goals and five assists so far, which aids Liverpool’s case in terms of their desire for Monaco to drop their price.
RMC reported earlier this month that Monaco will listen to bids starting at £62 million, leaving Liverpool fans perplexed why the club is not pushing on with a deal.
