Liverpool are interested in signing Lyon ace Tanguy Ndombele this summer, according to a report from French media outlet L’Equipe, and some Reds fans took to Twitter in response to the speculation.

The Metro claims that the 22-year-old is valued at somewhere around £80 million by Lyon, but whether Liverpool are prepared to meet that price remains to be seen.

The Merseyside outfit will also face competition from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus for the Frenchman’s signature, according to L’Equipe.
