Liverpool were too good for Bayern Munich in the Champions League last night, and many Reds fans took to Twitter to praise Sadio Mane’s performance against the German giants.
Jürgen Klopp’s side took the lead midway through the first-half, after Mane, 26, brilliantly took down Virgil van Dijk’s long through ball, before twisting and turning around Manuel Neuer and delicately chipping the ball into the back of the net.
Bayern then equalised just before half-time, but Liverpool never really looked in danger of conceding in the second-half.
Van Dijk made it 2-1 from a James Milner corner with around 20 minutes remaining, before Mane wrapped up the victory for the Reds in the 84th minute, with a well taken header from a Mo Salah cross.
The Senegalese ace, who is on £100,000 per week according to Spotrac, really was in sensational form against Bayern last night, and he has now racked up 10 goals in his last 10 outings for the Merseyside outfit.
