Liverpool loanee impressed in Carabao Cup semi final.

Liverpool ended Manchester City’s unbeaten run earlier this month and a Reds loanee helped give Pep Guardiola’s side a scare.
Bristol City loanee Ryan Kent starred as the Robins gave the Premier League leaders a real battle in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg.
Kent came off the bench in the second half and produced the cross which led to Bristol City scoring a 90th minute equaliser, which brought them within one goal of being level on aggregate.

Unfortunately Manchester City went straight up the other end with Kevin de Bruyne scoring a winner on the night, but Kent’s efforts did not go unnoticed.
Liverpool fans reacted positively on Twitter to his display, praising his talent and questioning the decision to loan him out in the first place.
This is Kent’s second loan of the season, after a disappointing spell at German side Freiburg where he was not really given a chance.
He was very impressive in pre-season for Liverpool and he just needs a platform to showcase this and grow as a player.
His contribution last night should ensure him more Bristol City opportunities, as he seeks to kick on over the second half of the season and make up for lost time.
