Barcelona’s highly-rated attacker Ousmane Dembele wants to move to Liverpool this summer.

Ousmane Dembele of FC Barcelona looks on prior to the La Liga match between RC Celta de Vigo and FC Barcelona at Abanca Balaidos Stadium on May 04, 2019 in Vigo, Spain.

Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele would be keen on a move to Liverpool if he leaves the Nou Camp this summer, according to TeamTalk.

It is said that Barca, who won the La Liga title during the recently concluded campaign, could cash in on the highly-rated Frenchman as they aim to finance a deal for his international teammate Antoine Griezmann.

Jurgen Klopp guided Liverpool the Champions League title last season, but they just about missed out on Premier League glory to Manchester City.

The Reds didn’t do much wrong in the league and they will be looking to replicate their form of last season again, but the club will be well aware that they need to add more depth to their squad.

A player of Dembele’s quality would improve Liverpool as he hasn’t been able to settle in at the Nou Camp since his move to the club two seasons ago.

But there’s no doubt that the Reds would be wary of a potentially hefty price-tag Barca might want for him and that would be off-putting for many.

During the recently concluded campaign, versatile attacker Dembele scored 14 goals and supplied nine assists in 42 games for the Catalan club [transfermarkt].

According to German outlet Spiegel, Dembele is earning £12 million-a-year at Barca, which is around £250k-a-week, which proves what an expensive purchase he could be in wages alone.

Here is a selection of Liverpool fans on Twitter reacting to those Dembele rumours:
