Liverpool fans got the crucial injury update they had been waiting for yesterday when Roberto Firmino returned to training.
The club confirmed Firmino took part in the first training session of the day during the preparations at Marbella.
Liverpool are in Spain to prepare for the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
Firmino has been out of action for the past three weeks and missed the semi-final comeback against Barcelona.
Divock Origi started in his place and scored twice, raising the possibility that he could start in the final against Tottenham.
A fully up to speed Firmino may be the better choice, but he has to prove his fitness before the June 1 final in Madrid.
Even if he starts on the bench, it’s almost certain Firmino would come on to play some part against Tottenham.
