Liverpool appear to have missed out on a move for Brazilian attacker Lucas Paqueta.
Paqueta has been tipped as Brazil’s next big playmaker.
It seems he will be following in the footsteps of Kaka rather than Coutinho, by choosing to sign with AC Milan.
Esporte Brazil report Milan have struck a deal with Flamengo to sign the 21-years-old.
Liverpool have been linked on and off to Paqueta over the past few weeks, with claim and counter claim in the media.
Last month Premium Sport commentator Andersinho Marques claimed that the agent of Flamengo ace Lucas Paqueta was in Liverpool, amid links to the Reds.

The Evening Standard claimed this past week Liverpool would not be moving for the Brazilian.
What seems clear for now, is that interested or not, Paqueta is not heading to Liverpool and will sign with Milan.

This means if Liverpool are to sign an attacking midfielder in January, they will have to look elsewhere.
