Liverpool linked again to Polish winger.
Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski in action
Italian newspaper Il Mattino this week reported Liverpool have had a £25 million transfer offer rejected for Piotr Zielinski.
Napoli are reportedly not interested in selling the winger at that price, even though it would allow them to turn a tidy profit on the Poland international.
It is the second successive summer Liverpool have been linked to Zielinski, with the Reds chasing him when they he was at Empoli last summer.
Jurgen Klopp’s side did not agree a fee with Empoli and he ended up signing for Napoli.
This past season he has scored five goals and provided seven assists, being overshadowed by prolific teammate Dries Mertens who netted 34 goals in all competitions.

Liverpool are yet to make any signings this summer despite being linked to several high profile targets.
They have had to watch on as rivals Everton have made the early running in the transfer window, spending more than at any point in their history.
Liverpool fans are admirers of Zielinski but remain unconvinced by their club’s transfer business.
