Nabil Fekir is reported to be struggling to cope with missing out on a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool fans were not the only ones devastated after Nabil Fekir’s transfer to Anfield fell through.
The player himself is still struggling to cope, according to his manager at Lyon, Bruno Genesio.
Fekir himself has stayed quiet since the move collapsed in early June.
The two clubs had been discussing a move worth 60 million Euros, BBC Sport reported.
Genesio was quoted by the Evening Standard: “It is never easy accepting this kind of situation, when you are very near to signing for a club where you want to go. Where you want to reach another level and to give a boost to your career.
“But as I said, it could have been worse for him. He is at Lyon, at a strong club, he is captain of a team who plays in the Champions League.”

Fekir was part of France’s World Cup winning squad in the summer and returned late to the French side.
There was speculation right up until the end of the transfer window that Liverpool could revisit their interest but no move ended up materialising.

Lyon drove a hard bargain with Liverpool, with outspoken club president Jean Michel Aulas a difficult negotiator.
Liverpool fans have taken encouragement from Genesio’s comments about Fekir, and are hopeful a move will be revisited in January…
