Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was notably underwhelming against Red Star Belgrade.

Liverpool’s rotated team struggled last night in the Champions League as the Reds slipped to their second group stage defeat.
The trio of Joel Matip, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge all failed to step up in Serbia as the Reds lost 2-0.
Their disappointing performances should not mask the fact star man Mohamed Salah was no better himself.

This season there has been a noticeable dip in his level of play, evidenced last night in the defeat.

Salah completed under 65 per cent of his passes and only managed one shot on target from four attempts.
While he tried to make things happen, he lacked the cutting edge he provided last season and it is beginning to look like a concern.
Liverpool fans are growing a little concerned with Salah and reacted on Twitter to his performance…
