Liverpool fans are keen to see Marco Asensio move to Anfield, after his game changing display for Real Madrid last night.
Asensio came on as a late substitute during Madrid’s match against PSG, and played a key role as Zinedine Zidane’s side picked up the victory.
Madrid won the match 3-1 to move into a commanding position to qualify for the next round, and they owed a lot to Asensio.
The Spaniard came on wth the scores locked at 1-1, and he quickly set about changing the direction of the contest.
Asensio set up Cristiano Ronaldo for Madrid’s second and he caused PSG’s defence no end of problems.
Liverpool were on at the same time, as they dismantled, Porto away from home.
Yet some Liverpool fans still had time to catch some of Asensio’s display, and they want Jurgen Klopp to make an ambitious bid for the midfielder in the summer.
Asensio is rated highly be Madrid, but he has not established himself as a regular starter for Los Blancos yet.
If Liverpool could manage to bring Asensio to Anfield it would be a highly impressive signing, and give them one of the most threatening attacking line-ups in European football.
