Liverpool fans on Twitter are liking the look of Marco Asensio.
The Real Madrid ace came off the bench to give the Spanish side a valuable 2-1 away win in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old is regularly linked with Liverpool and Don Balon reported earlier this month that Asensio has offers from both the Reds and their Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reported in February that Real value him at around £628.9 million.
The Spaniard glittered at the Allianz Arena after replacing Isco at half time, and fans of the Anfield club would love to see him arrive on Merseyside this summer.
Liverpool fans are smitten, but they won’t be if he damages their hopes of a sixth European Cup title next month.
As things stand, it looks like the Reds – who thumped Roma 5-2 at Anfield on Tuesday – will meet the reigning champions in next month’s final and although Asensio is someone who they admire at the moment, their feelings toward him could be very different in the coming weeks.
